North River Prevention Partners

 Implementing universal substance abuse prevention

Ways To Make a Difference

North River Prevention Partners is a Non-Profit and 501(c)(3) Organization.

We rely on the generosity of our community to help us make a difference.

One-Time

  • Sponsor one student from PHS, MSA, or PCHS to attend the annual overnight Youth in Action training retreat: $100 pays for lodging, food, and all training materials.

  • Sponsor one Youth in Action campus event: $50 pays for supplies and resources for students to develop and implement one prevention strategy on their campus.

  • Support students as they work to change the world: $25 provides snacks and drinks for youth coalition ambassadors at their meetings.

Monthly

With the Monthly giving program, you can select a pre-determined amount to give to North River Prevention Partners every month.

Your Monthly donation helps us reduce and prevent substance abuse in our communities.

Round-Ups

A donation roundup is an easy way to support North River Prevention Partners.

You can choose to round your debit or credit total up to the nearest dollar and the difference is donated to North River Prevention Partners.

About Us

North River Prevention Partners - The Beginning...North River Prevention Partners was established in 2015 as Palmetto Prevention Partnership by a small, dedicated group of local folks who saw a need and filled it.

One name change (to reflect the whole North River area), three grant applications, and four years later we finally received the Drug Free Communities grant in October 2019! The grant is a mix of federal dollars and local elbow grease- $125,000/ year with a 100% match from the community (dollars, in-kind services, and/or volunteer hours). That means over $2.5 million in prevention services for our community over the life of the 10-year grant!

We hope you join us in our efforts as we work to protect our North River communities from the devastation that substance abuse can bring.
